Submission to Productivity Commission Inquiry into Remote Area Tax Concessions and Payments: Response to Draft Report, September 2019

The Page Research Centre made a submission to the Productivity Commission on 8th October 2019 in response to its draft report into Remote Area Tax Concessions and Payments released on 4 September 2019.

The Commission’s key recommendation that remote area income tax concessions should be abolished without any replacement is not supported, and the Page Research Centre recommends further research and data collection is needed before further decision is made on this.
